Lighting Workshop

Last week I got to go to a lighting workshops offered by one of my photographer friends - the amazing Erin Summerill. I went with another of my good friends (she's been assisting on most of my sessions lately), Stacy. It was such a fun evening & it was great to review some fun techniques that I haven't played with in awhile! I love going to different workshops whenever I can, and I'm really looking forward to her next workshop!! Thanks for such a fun night Erin, and I (we) had a such a fun time chatting the night away with you after the workshop was done!

Z Turns 1

This little guy belongs to a good friend of mine. It's so hard to believe he's already turning 1! It seems like it was just a few months ago that I did his newborn pictures. Boy he's grown and become such a fun little dude!

We had such a fun time yesterday taking these pictures. . . especially with the cake!

I love it, it looks like this little guy is going to have his daddy's CURLY hair!!

oh how I love baby feet, even when they're crawling away from me!

I think you need this first one blown up on your wall - I just can't get enough of it!!

Daddy's Little Princess

Last Saturday I got to do newborn pictures for another beautiful baby girl. I just love newborn sessions & I've had a few in the last few weeks & a few more coming up soon. . . oh I'm excited! This sweet little girl was not quite 2 weeks old and already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger! I just loved watching him with her, he was just too cute holding her and interacting with her. You can just tell that he's completely smitten with his baby girl! I had such a fun time spending the afternoon with this cute family! Congrats you guys, she is beautiful.
