The Mauer Family

This was another fun family session, I sure have had a bunch of them lately. This family scheduled their session with me a few months ago since they knew that some of their family was going to be in town & it had been some time since their last family picture, and this was the only day that everyone would be in town at the same time. All during the day of the session it was windy, rainy & disgusting outside & I was SO afraid that we'd have to cancel because of weather (I'd had to cancel another session earlier in the week due to weather & didn't want to have to do that again). Lucky for us when we got to our location the rain seemed to disappear & things worked out in our favor - thank heavens! Now, I couldn't have done this session without the help from my amazing assistant Stacy - thanks for everything lady!

The Klc Family

I had such a fun time with this adorable family! When we first scheduled the session we had discussed this great warehouse location (which I've been wanting to shoot at for some time now) for their session but when I showed up the evening of the session our great location was being used as a movie set - bummer. Luckily these guys were really flexible & didn't mind changing locations at the last minute.

sorry

If you have e-mailed me in the last week about scheduling a photo session I'm sorry that I haven't responded but I'm working on getting myself feeling better & taking a little break. I will be responding to my e-mails again sometime this week. sorry for the delay.
In the coming weeks you'll find some changes going on around here & I'm really excited about them! I'm getting so excited to share with everyone - but they're not quite ready yet so check back soon.

To those families waiting for their pictures to be edited or for your sneak peek to be posted - I have to apologize that it's taking so long.
I've been sick (nothing contagious - and though it has been speculated. . .
NO, I AM NOT PREGNANT
and do not plan to be for while, just got some bug that's been making me miserable)
& haven't been able to dedicate time to editing or much else these days. So, until I'm feeling a bit better I'm taking a little break from editing and am only taking a limited number of sessions (if you have already booked a session with me don't worry I've still got you down). I hope to get back to my normal schedule and routine here shortly but until then I've got to scale back a bit and then hope that this doesn't last much longer.
On another note
I've had quite a few people ask when the best time to book a session to get fall leaves would be. I LOVE fall leaves in pictures, it's such a beautiful time of the year.
So, if you're wanting fall leaves in your family pictures . . .
if you'd like them with fall colors up in the canyons plan on booking your session for sometime during the last week of September or the first week of October.
If you'd like them with fall colors down in the valley plan on booking your session for sometime during the middle of October.
If you have any questions or would like to book your fall family session just e-mail me (the address is on sidebar)

The Gardner Family

FORE!!!!

I had so much fun with this cute family to do their kids' pictures! Their cute little guy LOVES to golf and right at the start of our session we were getting some pictures of him golfing when all of a sudden his club came flying at me. It was so funny! It took a bit for their little guy to warm up to me but before we knew it he was my little buddy. And their sweet baby girl, oh she was so perfect. It was great to meet you guys!

Growing up on the Farm

This cute family lives on a farm up in Northern Utah and had me come and do newborn pictures of their perfect new baby boy up on their farm. I have to say it was one of the most fun shoots I've been on and oh so different from any other I've done. The mom is a friend of mine from High School that I hadn't seen in years & it was so good to see her and meet her hubby and baby boy. Since I had to travel quite a ways for this session I dragged my own hubby and two boys with me for the ride. As we finished up the session my friends husband took my little guy for a ride on one of the tractors (a swather to be exact - right guys?). My little guy was in heaven for days & told just about everyone he saw about riding in the tractor. Thanks for having me come up for this session! Hopefully I'll get to do more sessions in their cute town in the future (it was truly beautiful up there)!
